Application
Medium-strength threadlocker. For fine thread connections on hydraulic and pneumatic systems and for general use in small screw connections. Fast curing.

Execution
  • LOCTITE® 542 is used for securing and sealing pipes and fittings and other metal cylindrical connections.
  • The product cures in the absence of air between tight-fitting metal surfaces and prevents the connection working loose or prevents leakage resulting from impacts and vibration.
  • Due to its thixotropic behaviour, LOCTITE 542 reduces the flow of the liquid product after it has been applied to the component.
  • Only suitable for metal threads
